During your free painting estimate, our estimator will talk with you and look at the items you want to be repainted. Our repaints include basic prep work such as removing nails (if you choose), filling nail holes, removing switch-plate covers, covering non-painted surfaces such as floors, patching minor drywall blemishes, priming and texturing repairs, treating water stains, and then one or two coats of Behr or Sherwin Williams finish paint. We can also do more extensive prep if needed, such as wallpaper removal and texturing.

We use high-quality paints to keep the pricing affordable by coating with one coat of finish paint when possible. Contrasting color changes and sheen changes will determine how many coats are needed. Our estimator can discuss sheen changes and colors and bring a color deck to your appointment to begin selecting your colors. If you would like to keep your existing colors, we can match up the paint to what is currently there. We can apply up to 4 wall color samples for free prior to starting the work.

Stained Wood

Stained wood includes refinishing of entry doors, trim, staircases, and more. The procedure to refinish woodwork is to lightly sand to profile, clean with denatured alcohol, stain, and varnish. There may be multiple coats needed depending on the color you want to achieve. We use high-quality products from Behr and Sherwin Williams for our work. Garage floors and enclosed porch concrete floors can be painted or sealed to protect them and give a new look. We use concrete stains and epoxy floor coatings. Wallpaper Removal

Do you have wallpaper or border that is damaged or dated that you’d like removed or covered? We can remove that wallpapered look which includes stripping off the old paper and glue, repairing any damaged drywall, skim and sand, texture or sand smooth, prime, and paint. Occasionally wallpaper can be difficult to impossible to remove, causing extensive damage to the drywall underneath. This happens sometimes if the paper was applied to bare drywall. It is best in these cases to glue down any bubbles or raised corners or seams, oil-prime over the wallpaper, texture, prime, and paint. Both methods will create the same look and end result. Pressure Washing

Prep Work And Repairs

Our exterior repaints include basic prep work such as pressure washing, scraping loose unbonded paint, caulking around doors and windows, filling settlement cracks with elastomeric, priming any bare wood or metal, and an application of a sealer prior to finishing the painting. Sometimes the structure may need some repair work performed in addition to these standard items such as rotted wood replacement, stucco replacement, and soffit repair work. We can remove rotted fascia boards, trim boards, and siding, caulk the new wood, and a prime the new wood. We can also perform minor soffit repairs and replacement if needed. We do stucco small area removal, clothing, and application of hydraulic cement/stucco on areas of failed stucco or repair. During your free painting estimate, you can show our estimator your items of repair. Sometimes items such as fascia wood rot may not be noticeable until we pressure wash. If any items of repair are found after the pressure washing our foreman can bring it to your attention to see if you would like replacement or patching. Concrete Staining

Exterior concrete can be stained to hide cracks and imperfections, protect the concrete, and/or create a new look to the exterior of your home. We can stain driveways, porches, walkways, pool decks, and more. Concrete stain looks very much like paint but it is formulated differently for floor surfaces because they take much more wear and tear than house surfaces do. Concrete stain can be clear or tinted to any color. There are many products available for floors. We determine which product should be used base on the concrete surface condition, it’s used, as well as if it has been coated before with another product. The non-slip additive is mixed with the stain for safety. Surfaces to be stained will be pressure washed first, cracks will be filled and then one or two coats as needed for the application will be rolled on.
